PSYCHOLOGICAL COUNSELING

We provide individual and family mental health services to children and adolescents who have endured physical, emotional, and/or sexual trauma. Survivors’ Pathway Center aims to promote socio-emotional wellness and healing to its clients through building resiliency and encouraging emotional growth.

This counseling process is aimed at decreasing the emotional and psychological symptoms associated with experiencing traumatic events.

Our psychological treatment provides individuals with the opportunity to identify, analyze, and restructure cognitive and cultural beliefs that may be preventing them from achieving a better quality of psychological and emotional experiences. Our approach is also composed of an important psycho-educational process that provides survivors with specific tools which can be utilized to expand the understanding of their traumatic experiences and gain the skills needed to overcome the daily challenges associated with their distressful emotional experiences.

ALL SERVICES ARE FREE TO OUR CLIENTS.

Home Visit Therapy

We understand that as a result of the violence and trauma experienced, some individuals and their families are unable to come to our facilities. Additionally, factors such as lack of resources, intense emotional distress, and physical impairments make it difficult for some clients to attend sessions at our offices. Therefore, therapists at Survivors’ Pathway Center conduct assessments and treatments at clients' homes.

Home visits are currently available in the following areas in Miami-Dade County:

Norte: Miami Lakes, Miami Gardens, Hialeah, North Miami, Liberty City, Opa-Locka y Doral

Sur: Kendall, West Kendall, Homestead y Sweetwater
